IMPLEMENTASI FRAMEWORK LARAVEL PADA SISTEM INFORMASI PERPUSTAKAAN DAERAH KABUPATEN LUWU

An effective and efficient library information system is needed to improve
service quality, facilitate information access, and optimize library data management.
Laravel was chosen as the framework due to its advantages in security, performance,
and ease of web application development.
The methodology used in this study includes requirement analysis, system
design, development, testing, and implementation. In the requirement analysis phase,
interviews and observations were conducted to understand the business processes and
user needs. The system design phase involved creating data flow diagrams and user
interface designs. System development was carried out by implementing key
functionalities such as book management, member management, borrowing, and
returning. System testing was conducted to ensure the system operates according to the
specified requirements. Implementation involved user training and data migration from
the old system to the new system.
The results of the study indicate that the Laravel-based library information
system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of library data management. The
system also provides easy access to information for both library staff and members.
Users responded positively to the new system due to its user-friendly interface and
comprehensive features.
The implementation of the Laravel framework in the regional library
information system of North Luwu Regency has successfully enhanced the quality of
library services. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of
library information systems in other regions.
